We are very sad to report that our friend and soccer comrade, Scott Kirkwood, passed away on September 8 2020. He was 61. Scott had been battling cancer for several years and looked to have been making a recovery. He was even seen out practising with Cordova Bay last year.

Scott was a Tottenham fan, and an original member of the Cordova Bay Fighting Perch. 

Scott taught grade 2 and coached all sports at Oaklands School for 20 years, retiring in 2017. He gave up much of his free time in order to coach, and was kind and supportive to all his students.

Scott was a steady full back, and a gentleman on and off the field. We will remember him as having a great sense of humour as well. He will be sorely missed.
