Memorial Video

This video is dedicated to the memory of Peter Fuglem. Peter died in a motorcycle accident while travelling in Utah in June 2019.

Peter was an avid soccer player and a long-standing member of the Juan de Fuca Football Club in Victoria BC. He also played Over 35 Masters Soccer with the Castaways FC before switching to Juan de Fuca. Over the years, Peter put on the uniform for Juan de Fuca at the Over 35 level in the Vancouver Island Soccer League, as well as playing in SVICSA with the Over 40s, Over 48s and Over 55s JDF teams. 

Most recently, he had been a regular at the Hampton Turf, kicking a ball with the SVICSA Over 60s crowd on Mondays and Fridays. In addition, Peter helped run the Ministry of Forests team in the BC Government Employees Co-Ed Soccer Society (summer league). 

I had the pleasure of playing with and against Peter Fuglem for many years. This video is in honour of him, and the spirit with which he played the game. He will be dearly missed.
